NWL Over the Limit is the first CPV of the Noob Wrestling League. It is also the first Over the Limit event for the NWL. It was held on April 27, 2014
Background[]
A tournament was set up by GM Mick Foley to crown the first NWL Champion at the CPV. CM Punk and Cowboy Keith were able to advance to the finals and will face each other for the title at the CPV.
Legacy beat Wonka & The Doctor on April 2nd; while Evolution beat Mysterio & Dominic on April 9th. Following Evolution's victory, Legacy attacked them. GM Mick Foley set up the match for the CPV and made it for the NWL Tag Team Championship.
Dolph Ziggler beat Christian Torres in a #1 contender's match on April 16th to get a match against Spider-Man.
After losing to Sting in the first round of the NWL Championship Tournament, Chaz Parker vowed to make sure Sting would never win the title. Chaz cost Sting his match against CM Punk and then beat him down after a match with Pennywise.
