MCW Debut, Tag Team Champion (2009-2010)[]
Krystiansen in 2010
Rhys Krystiansen debuted along with his tag partner Adam Raven to attack Infernus after he was sacked by general manager Thomas Law. Krystiansen and Adam Raven debued in the ring against The Lash Brothers and won in very convincing style. Krystiansen fought one half of the MCW Tag-Team Champions Derek, and won very quickly. This gave him momentum going into Bombfire Brawl where he and Raven beat the Tag-Team Champions The 3 Minute Wonders. Rhys Krystiansen is still undefeated on his own but in overall competition he suffered his first MCW defeat on November 29th 2009 where he lost to the British Bruiser in a 3 on 1 gauntlet match after C2Z and Adam Raven were both counted out.
Return and forming The Canadian Invasion (2011-present)[]
Krystiansen made an appearance at The Rumble 2011 when he attacked Jim Michaels during Michaels' entrance. Krystiansen then Irish Whipped Jim Michaels into a steel chair being held by then Jim Michaels' tag team partner Bret James. Turning James heel. Bret James soon started a stable with Rhys Krystiansen called The Canadian Invasion. At MCW 8, Krystiansen accompanied Bret James to the ring in a losing effort to Jim Michaels after Michaels got right back up from James' Somersault Axe Kick to hit the Landing Failure to win the match. The Canadian Invasion had their first tag team match at MCW Era 2011 against Jim Michaels and the returning Atlas Johnson. Johnson would turn on his partner with a stiff DDT allowing Bret James to pick up the win. Johnson turned heel and joined the Canadian Invasion in the process. Krystiansen defeated TCS in the first match of the night at MCW Thrive to Survive 2011. Krystiansen & Atlas Johnson fought K8 & Derek at MCW Night of Legends 2011 in a losing effort. Kristiansen then fought alongside Johnson and Bret James in a 6-Man Elimination Tag Match against K8, Chris Grangefield and Ray Kilik at MCW Revival. But they were defeated.
