Biography

Born in Pittsburgh, PA Johnathen was born to Robert and Lily Dupont. Lily left Robert shortly after Johnathen's birth and Johnathen lived with his hard working father until Johnathen turned one. His mother came back and demanded custody of Johnathen and after a lengthy court battle Lily got full custody of Johnathen and Robert need to not only pay her alimony but now child support.

Johnathen was brought to Los Angeles and eventually Johnathen's mother met a rich older man named James Magnum. They got married and James adopted young Johnathen to effectively change his legal name from Johnathen Dupont to Johnathen Magnum. The Magnums lived in what was then "Magnum Manor". Johnathen loved his life in the mansion and at age 5 he and James used to work out in the private gym while his mother would be off shopping. James saw Johnathen trying his hardest to lift heavier weights but James got him started on light weights. Johnathen enjoyed lifting and James talked to his dietician to arrange a special diet for Johnathen to help him build muscle mass.

Johnathen stuck with the diet and stuck with weight lifting. One day after a work out Johnathen went to the media room and turned on a TV. He started watching a wrestling match where Billy Graham destroyed someone in the ring and squeezed the life out of him when he locked his massive arms around the opponent's body and the opponent couldn't take anymore. Magnum continued to watch wrestling and became fascinated by it.

When Magnum turned 12 he talked to James about wanting to be a wrestler. His mother was against it but James was for it so James contacted some trainers in the area and finally found one nearby. Johnathen at age 13 walked into a wrestling school looking at men in their 20's, 30's ,and 40's wanting to be wrestlers but not being able to get anything right. The trainer showed Magnum something once and Magnum did it perfectly. Magnum consistently did whatever he was told with a smile on his face. His attitude impressed a lot of the other trainees seeing as how he wanted to be a pro-wrestler more than anything.

When Magnum turned age 15 he had his first match. The fans in attendance had seen a lot of young talent and just assumed they would be seeing a botchfest but Johnathen and his opponent put on a great match. Johnathen ended up being the one who sold the most tickets because of his look, his style, his overall attitude, and his personality. Magnum wrestled until age 18 where James Magnum passed away in his sleep. When the will was read James had left all of his money and his Manor to Johnathen. Johnathen's mother was the most happiest about this since it meant she could stay and the mansion was hers. Johnathen had other plans as he had security take his vindictive mother off the premises.

At age 18, Johnathen was rich and his life was extremely great. In the gym area he hired world class wrestling trainers to train him when he wasn't doing work related stuff over at Magnum Incorporated or out on dates. Magnum continued training and eventually decided to leave California to train with Rick Rude. Rude was impressed by Magnum that he took him under his wing. When Rick Rude had passed away in his sleep Johnathen changed his wrestling name to "Ravishing" John Rude. Complete with a specially made robe and the "Rude Awakening" Hangmans' Neckbreaker, Magnum paid homage to his mentor.

All-Styles Wrestling

ASW was interested in Johnathen Magnum so they sent out agents and feelers to take a look at the kid. Magnum showed them that he had the ability to draw fans and connect with them too. His promos were good and his wrestling style was even better. ASW signed Johnathen to a contract in which Magnum took. In the first few months he won the ASW United States title from Homer Simpson.

A month later, Johnathen Magnum introduced an on-screen valet Trina Lash and bodyguard Michael Hazard. With them by his side Johnathen Magnum gained the ASW World title until cracks in the coat of arms started to become more apparent with Magnum getting jealous of Trina Lash and Michael Hazard getting ready to strike out on his own until Shawn Damian made his debut and Trina was falling for him. Magnum convinced Hazard into helping him rid ASW of Shawn Damian but it didn't work. Shawn Damian just shed his "nice guy blue chipper" gimmick and Magnum became a premium target for Shawn Damian. Their feud continued throughout their time in ASW until they left.

ZXWWF

Johnathen Magnum signed a contract with ZXWWF and showed the rest of the world what he was about when he defeated CJ Hawk, Jeff Hardy, Shia Storm, Spyder, and Shia Storm to become the first Xtreme Hardcore Experience World Champion. Magnum wasted no time manipulating Scary Mary to gain an edge over all the other ZXWWF superstars. Along with Mary, Rhyno and Dequan were also on Magnum's side. Magnum defended the XHE title taking on all comers.

At Armaggeddon, Johnathen Magnum defeated Spyder and Konsept once again in a triple threat match. Magnum was at the top of the heap and the best champion at the time until losing the title to his old rival Shawn Damian.

A week later Johnathen Magnum regained the title. Magnum retained the title until losing it to Shia Storm. Magnum at that time was given an ultimatum by Mary about winning a title or saying goodbye to their relationship.

Johnathen Magnum said goodbye to their relationship before having a title match when he hooked up with Sheena Marie. Magnum and Marie became a very close couple. Magnum in the time period defeated Jeff Jarrett for the US title then lost it when his relationship with Sheena Marie played a factor.

Magnum never being the faithful one cheated on Sheena Marie with Trish Stratus. After all that had happened, Sheena Marie was released from ZXWWF and Magnum was with Trish Stratus. Magnum/Stratus was good but they broke up mutually and decided to date other people. Magnum for a time started dating Candice Michelle until they broke up and Magnum got back with Trish.

Johnathen Magnum had a rivalry with Christian Cage and Randy Orton in which Magnum sent them both packing when he unleashed a dark side that no fan had ever seen out of Magnum.

Sometime later Johnathen Magnum asked for his release and got it.

Xtreme Global Wrestling League

At Holiday Havoc, Johnathen Magnum made his debut reunited with Sheena Marie as he took on Andrew "Test" Martin. Magnum defeated Test with a Double Underhook facebreaker known as The One Night Stand. After the match Magnum celebrated with Sheena Marie.

At Thug Life, Johnathen Magnum went one on one with El Toro Extremo and lost. After the match, Magnum was mad that he couldn't defeat ETE and eventually yelled at Sheena Marie and blamed her for the loss. Magnum cooled down and apologized but as far as Magnum being done with "The Insane Luchador" there's no chance it's over until Magnum avenges that loss at Thug Life.

One month later, After still hanging in and vowing that he would gain a measure of redemption against El Toro Extremo, Magnum was put into a match to fight for the opportunity to face "The Insane Luchador" at All Eyes On Me. In a Fatal Four Way match, Johnathen Magnum defeated Hellrazor, The Great D, and the Japanese wrestling legend "The Falcon" Hayabusa to become the number 1 contender. At All Eyes On Me, Magnum made good on his promise as he wrestled El Toro Extremo. Magnum hit ETE with the One Night Stand once and pinned him but pulled him up for a two count. Magnum let El Toro up just to hit a low blow and a DDT followed up by a second One Night Stand to pin El Toro for the 1...2...3.

After about a month of being off XGW programming, Magnum made his return at XGW's Spring Breakout where he defended the title against "The Masterpiece" Chris Masterson. In a fairly competitive match, Johnathen Magnum dropped Masterson with the One Night Stand to retain the XGW Pro title.

"God's Gift To Women" Johnathen Magnum defended his Pro title against New Jack on Shockwave 5 in a sleeper of a main event match. Magnum and New Jack went full tilt but Magnum finally hit New Jack with a One Night Stand and won by in to retain the Pro title.

Now competition is starting to come out of the woodworks with El Toro Extremo gunning for Magnum to reclaim the Pro title Magnum took from him at All Eyes On Me two months ago. Magnum takes on ETE on ep. 30 and with recent talk from Great D about wanting to face Magnum for the Pro title Magnum's got his back against the wall but he's ready and willing to defend and retain the Pro title to become the greatest Pro champion in XGW history.

Johnathen Magnum's reign as Pro Champion came to an end by Great D. Magnum then lost a match against El Toro Extremo which was an opponent Sheena Marie had booked seeing as how she was booker for a night. After that loss, Magnum took time off from XGW, traveled the world, and learned more moves to add to his already impressive reportoire.

On Episode 34, Harbor Light vowed to take the XGW Pro title to MIW until the lights went out and Johnathen Magnum hit his newest finisher "The M-Zuigiri" to dethrone Light in an impromtu title match. On episode 35, Johnathen Magnum introduced his new valet and girlfriend, Diana Roberts along with a new Pro title for himself.

On Episode 37, Johnathen Magnum held an open invitational for anyone to challenge him for the Pro title. Goldberg was the challenger. He made his way to the ring and started to do his whole jumping up and down roaring schtick which did not impress "The Ravishing One". Magnum caught Goldberg in an Amateur Wrestling style pinning manuever to end the match as soon as it began. A lot of people have hated that Magnum won in that manner but Magnum did defeat Goldberg cleanly with a cleancut wrestling move.

At Paid In Full, Johnathen Magnum lost the Pro title in a triple threat match in which he was pinned by Apollo after the Pisano Plunge (Modified Samoan Drop). At Holiday Massacre, Johnathen Magnum had a match against a mystery opponent who turned out to be Jamie Jager. Magnum defeated Jager but after the match found out that Sheena Marie attacked Magnum's girlfriend/valet Diana Roberts a.k.a Sheena Marie Bytch.

After a match against Bruno Battaglia in which Magnum won, Magnum hasn't been on XGWL ever since. He's still got a contract but there's absolutely no bookings for him.
