New Year Skirmish 2010 is the 8th Mega Event to be produced by by MCW which is always held on New Years Eve. And is the 4th New Year Skirmish of it's chronology. It is also the last CAW CPV of 2010.MCW announced that the new MCW General Manager would be making an appearance at this event.

Aftermath[]
Zak Leal was announced as MCW's new General Manager and reinstated Infernus and named himself as Jack Lessar's tag partner against The Faction however, Bryan Scar would then turn on Adrian J turning Scar face leaving Adrian J in a handicap match situation.
Zak Leal also made a match for The Rumble, with Infernus against C2Z for the chance to take on Damien 666 at MCW 8.
