  • Hey again,

I wanted to ask you a question about 2K17. It is possible to upload pictures from the internet and be able to use them? If so, I've been asking around to see if anybody good at graphic design could help me. My second question is whether or not you knew anything about photoshop? I want to change this logo so instead of Steven Spielberg it would say "Biff Andreas", and the "Back to" in Back to the Future to "Wave of", finally I'd remove "A Robert Zemeckis Film" to "Champion of the Universe." I think it would be bad ass if it could be done.

  • Hi Burb,

I just had an idea for a future storyline I wanted to pitch to you that you could use in the future. It would start with either Biff being drafted to Smackdown or Danny being drafted to Raw. Danny has been in the midcard for a while, and my idea was that they have a friendly interaction backstage. Danny loses some kind of match, maybe a midcard title match.

Later on, Biff and Danny are scheduled to have an exhibition match. Before the match starts, Biff walks away. The following week, he cuts a promo saying he worked his entire career to one day be Danny’s equal, and at the moment he wasn’t fit to be in the same ring as him and that he wanted to face Danny the multiple time world champion, not the guy he is now.

Danny starts working his way up the card, beating top midcarders and then main eventers. Afterwards, Biff could maybe have some kind of belt perhaps. Danny earns a title shot, and says if he can’t become World Champion again he would willingly retire. This is similar to the Ric Flair angle. In the match, Biff goes over. Both competitors hug in the ring, (or whatever cutscene the game has).

After Danny is gone from New-WWE, you could pick a rookie (someone you would want to give a slow build). Make him cut an arrogant promo about how he could beat Biff and other top guys. Biff beats the rookie in decisive fashion, but then tells him to work his way up, that he has the potential to be great. (Call back to Danny and Biff)

Danny gave me permission to pitch this. He’s willing to let Biff be the one to retire Danny from New-WWE if you want to do it.

    • I'll look into it if I get to a point where the stars align. A bit infeasable for this season, though, given the all of it has been booked and finalized (The revisions I made to fit Evan O'Shea in were the last ones I plan on doing). Biff's feud with Triple H and Titus is going to span the entire season, and Jackpot has two separate feuds completely booked after the current program with Kevin Owens concludes.

I should also say that I'm not so sure about the retiring Danny thing, unless he's actually planning on ending the character's career as a whole. I'd rather not retire him while other feds are still using him like normal; it'd be akin to just releasing him.

    • It’s okay, don’t do it then. It was an idea in my head since me and Danny were both saying we planned to retire once the feds we’re in are gone. Was a suggestion I made following the chat we had. I just pitched the thought process to him and he said he’d be cool with it if you were. Thought I would bounce it off you, see what you thought.

I remembered you saying back then you liked when people came up with ideas, like with Caylen Rogers.

I DO like when ideas are presented to me, yeah.

It's just not really feasible for me to accept everything.

    • Hey there!

I'd love to have them back, and I can certainly make the room.

    • All set.

I record shows very far in advance, so it'll be a while, but O'Shea will be returning at Royal Rumble. Blackrose will be returning sometime near the beginning of Season 12.

Always loved your characters, and I'm excited to have them on the show again. More importantly, it's nice to see you around again, and equally nice to put all that stupid old drama behind us. :)

  • Darren Young and Summer Rae were released from WWE today, and Neville's also probably gone for good...given your custom, should I consider them gone from New-WWE as well?

Summer Rae was already released from New-WWE, even before this news broke. Young will be going, too.

Neville has some storylines planned for the next two CPVs, so he will be around until at least the No Mercy CPV (I actually already have every show recorded to that point). I've written him out of shows planned following that point. So, basically, he'll be around until then, after which he'll be released (or, under the incredibly unlikely event he returns in real life before then, will stick around).

  • Hi Burb,

I was just wondering if you still had Mr. Mac’s theme song on your computer at all? The one with Tommy Dreamer’s song and the kid saying that he touched his penis?

  • Now that Paige is preparing to return to the WWE main roster, are you still planning to use her again in New-WWE? (I remember you saying that if you ever did, she would likely be a tweener)

If she does make it back to WWE programming, I will start using her again.

  • If you haven't figured it out yet, the recent backstory I presented to Bastion Goodhand is a direct ripoff of the Stephen King novel "It." I've been reading the book lately and at the sametime I was thinking about the ridiculous story that Teryo Law used to have for his character, and how you decided to out of the blue make Rod Reed a crazy transvestite. Anyhow, if you feel like running with it, go ahead. Lol.

Just decided to fuck around a bit.

  • Since you have merged JJPW with DCO, I'd like to ask if the JJPW titles are going to be retired now. Also, I'm wondering if DCO is going to be renamed JJPW, since I know where you're getting this whole merger thing from.

The JJPW titles are just retired.

And what you're thinking is actually NOT the case. I actually didn't intend it to be a parody of the TNA/GFW merger. It wouldn't even work if it was meant to be that, since JJPW is a parody of TNA, not GFW (At the time JJPW first started, it was a while before Jeff Jarrett left TNA to start GFW. In fact, Jarrett was still a regular on TV, doing the MMA gimmick he had for a while).

The merger between DCO and JJPW was a long time coming. I kept JJPW "open" for all this time in spite of being inactive because I thought I might want to do it again someday. I figured since I was doing DCO again, now would be the best opportunity to finally shut the door on JJPW since at this point, I'm 100% positive I'm not going to ever do another JJPW show.

  • Just a couple things I wanted to say real quick. If 2K17-18 has his headwear in the game, then go ahead and give it to him. Also, I'd like to request that he wear black knee pads & boots, with the Egyptian (ankh) cross on his boots.
