NWL Royal Rumble 2 is the twelfth CPV of the Noob Wrestling League. It is also the second Royal Rumble event for the NWL. It was be held on August 23, 2015. Each week leading up to the CPV 4 entrants were be announced for the Royal Rumble Match
Following Rated RKO's victory over The Devil & Batista, Batista would get upset at Orton having so much success without him. He would attack and injure Orton's partner Edge. The Devil & Batista would then invoke their rematch clause to win the NWL Tag Team Championship. This would lead to Orton facing Batista in a one-on-one match.
After months of being attack solo, El Generico & Lamar Henderson agreed to team up to take on their common enemies of Wade Barrett & Cowboy Keith.
At NWL Extreme Rules 2, Agent Smith stepped in for Steve Smooth after he was found unconscious backstage. He would go on to defeat CM Punk, leading to the rematch here at NWL Royal Rumble 2.
Carnage won the NWL Championship at NWL Extreme Rules 2, but he was cashed in on by Vincent Andolini. As such, GM Mick Foley scheduled Carnage's rematch for the title against Vincent Andolini at the CPV.
