Rod Queerstreet is the less popular brother of Gaylord Queerstreet.
CAW Young Lions Cup 2011, Heel Turn, & Singles Run
During one of Rod Queerstreet's first ever matches as a single competitor, he had competed in the Young Lions Cup where he was defeated in the first round by B.B Disco. Dejected and humiliated by his defeat, Rod slipped into a state of depression that was quickly broken when he discovered the Youtube account of WWE superstar Daniel Bryan. He studied and mastered the holds Bryan taught him via the videos, and became a master of Submission Wrestling. Now refueled, Rod dubbed himself the "Best In The World" and abandoned his brother and partner Gaylord Queerstreet.
Rod Queerstreet, despite his name, is actually straight. The name is just an unfortunate coincidence.
On April 9th, 2016, Rod, his brother Gaylord, and his cousin Daryl were found dead in their Gainesville home, each with multiple stab wounds. Hours after the bodies were discovered, fellow DCO competitor Rod Reed turned himself in to the police station and admitted to committing the murders. In his confession, Reed stated that he had killed the Queerstreet family with a lawnmower blade because he thought Daryl's girlfriend stole his PS Vita.
